All our sausages contain the best free range meat available and are made in-house from natural pork intestines.
All contain the perfect ratio of meat to fat (80:20). With a perfectly balanced blend of free-range, grass-fed and finished beef and lamb, with subtle traditional spices, there’s nothing like a good snaga! Fry in a pan or BBQ until they appear to be evenly brown and sizzling. About 10 minutes.
These sausages are sold in packs of six and will be a minimum of 600g. They come to you in a biodegradable tray with a minimum shelf life of 3 days.
Most sausages are made from pork, but can be made from almost any animal.

The real secret to making a delicious sausage is in the addition of pork fat. A) Because it is delicious and provides flavor. B) Because it transforms the texture of ground meat into a flexible and moist product.
We almost exclusively make pork sausages at our retail location in Denver. We usually slaughter one pig a week and use the picnic shoulder, excess fat and trimmings to make fresh sausages.

Sometimes we make lamb sausage and duck. Lamb sausages sometimes contain the addition of pork fat in the recipe. However, duck sausage is usually 100% duck because the animal is very fatty to begin with.
Our summer sausage is a 60/40 blend of pork and beef that is fermented and smoked. We love the texture and flavor the lean beef added to the fattier pork shoulder. Our unique spice blend makes it our most popular sausage. It will be available at all Whole Foods stores in the Rocky Mountain region in late December!
